The long wait is over—we have an event! Join us on Tuesday at Land Grant.

We're excited to bring together folks who want more housing, more options, and more neighbors in Central Ohio.

The long wait is over—we have an event! Join us on Tuesday at Land Grant.

Want to know more about N4MN? Come hang out at Land Grant on Tuesday evening.

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally hosting a little happy hour for Neighbors for More Neighbors—Columbus. If you’ve been lurking around and checking out our website, this is the time to get involved.

We’ve received hundreds of emails from supporters since launching in January, and we really hope to meet some of you next week. This informal event will be an opportunity to chat about the inclusive housing agenda of N4MN and strategize actions to support more housing options for all in Central Ohio.

When: Tuesday, October 12 from 5:30pm to 7pm
Where: Land-Grant Brewing Company, 424 W. Town Street
Who: Anyone interesting in supportive inclusive housing options.
Why: We just haven’t met you yet! Let’s be friends and talk about housing policy reform.

More big news: YARD SIGNS!

Just in time to capture the passing glances of dawdling dog-walkers and plaid-clad couples enjoying the leaf-strewn sidewalks of autumn, we’ve created a new batch of yard signs for you. Join us on Tuesday to grab one (while supplies last) and talk about the most effective ways to display them…and other normal stuff too.

Save the Date: Zoning Code Report, October 20

After a lull in activity, the City of Columbus is going to share some new developments with the update of our antiquated zoning code. To quote from the announcement: “Two sessions are available for scheduling flexibility – the content of each presentation will be the same. Further details about accessing the virtual meetings, will be forthcoming. Limited seating can be made available for those who do not have internet access. The sessions will also be recorded for later viewing. The Assessment Report will be posted to the City’s website prior to the presentations. Contact zoningupdate@columbus.gov with questions.”

Let’s talk about important questions to ask, like “What public purpose does banning duplexes serve?” This is a fantastic opportunity to ask difficult questions about the role of government in creating sustainable, diverse, affordable, and accessible neighborhoods.
